ROBERT R STOKES, 29, of 226 81^st Ave. N., died Thursday (Nov 16, 1978). He was a lifetime resident of St. Petersburg and was a lineman for Florida Power Corporation. He was a member of the Holy family Catholic Church and the Elmer O. Smith Masonic Lodge No. 307 F & AM. He served in the national Guard and was awarded the Florida Distinguished Service Medal, the Florida Meritorious Service Medal, the Florida Service Ribbon and the Distinguished Service Medal. Survivors include his wife Marcia Lynn; two sons, Sean and Todd, his parents, Robert and Virginia Stokes and six brothers, Tom, Ted, Andy, Donald, Michael and Richie, all of St. Petersburg.
