Geyer, G. Allen, 80, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday (May 9, 2007) at home under the care of Hospice of the Florida Suncoast. He came here in 1962 from his native Des Moines, Iowa, where he taught school. He graduated in 1955 with a master's degree from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Ill., and retired in 1984 as a high school teacher and staff developer for Pinellas County schools. He taught at Northeast High School from 1962 until 1971 and was a member of Southside Tabernacle Baptist Church. He was a Navy veteran. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Betty; two sons, Eric S., Altamonte Springs, and Jeffrey A., and a daughter, Lorraine Geyer-Limitone, both of Clearwater; and six grandchildren, Tristan, Teah, Cali, Shannon, Rylea and Bradee. E. James Reese Funeral Home and Crematory, Seminole.
