Kathleen (Ruppel) Kerrins, 70, died on June 5, 2019.  

She was predeceased by her beloved Parents Maxine and Edward Ruppel, Sister Diana Richard, Aunt Dorothy Fay Teitelbaum and Grandmothers Vera Cooper and Katherine Ruppel.

She is survived by Son Todd (Tracy) Kerrins, Daughter Julie (Todd) Costa, Brother David (Patty) Ruppel, adored Grandchildren Abby, Lindsey, Jackson, Natalie, and Aidan, and loyal feline companions Baby and Punkin.

Cathye enjoyed a satisfying career as a nurse practitioner and worked for 47 years.

"Mimi" loved her Grandchildren deeply and they enriched her life in so many ways.  Family cruises were a favorite with all.

Cathye found great pleasure volunteering with the 4 Paws Rescue Team for over 20 years, helping to save feline lives and finding safe and loving homes for hundreds of cats and kittens.

Cathye also enjoyed volunteering at the Gus Stavros Institute and Belle of the Ball.

Memorial Services will be held at Mohn Funeral Home, 9700 Seminole Blvd. Seminole, Fl. 33772 on Friday, June 14, 2019.  We will be gathering at 4:30P.M. and the memorial will start at 5:00P.M.

In lieu of flowers, Cathye would love any donations be made to the 4 Paws Rescue Team.

So sorry to hear about this. I remember her as a fun and talented person. Compassionate, too.

I remember her well. When I was a Candy Striper at Bayfront Medical when it was Mound Park Hospital, I was assigned to the surgical floor. I found out that she was working that floor too. When our shift was up, we had lunch together in the hospital cafeteria. She was very nice.
